The Alex Lewis Trust

RACS Group are proud to be supporting the Alex Lewis Trust, a local charity that was started on behalf of Alex Lewis, who became a quadruple amputee with facial disfigurements after contracting Strep A and necrotizing fasciitis (flesh-eating disease).

Alex is now on the long journey to rehabilitation, learning to walk on prosthetic legs and to use his new arms. The Alex Lewis Trust has been set up to help Alex fund his rehabilitation - providing wheelchairs, home adaptations and prosthetic maintenance. Funds will also help Salisbury District Hospital where much of Alex's treatment was carried out. In the future it aims to provide civilian amputees with resources and information and to support others affected by this rare condition.

To help promote the trust, RACS Group provided branded hoodies and T-shirts, displaying the inspirational logo for the Alex Lewis Trust, which Chief organiser of the event Alex Beck designed.
