RACS have introduced a new system to check identity and right to work for all contractors registering for umbrella payroll.
We've introduced this to enhance the evidence we provide in confirming a candidate's validity to work with the intention to protect all parties concerned.
As the employer, it is our responsibility to confirm that all new applicants are who they say they are and have the necessary right to work documentation.
To ensure that these checks are completed quickly and with the highest degree of accuracy and security we have introduced People Compliance Ltd who use facial recognition software and digital upload of documents to capture a contractor's details.
People Compliance Ltd sit within the People Group Services set of companies which also includes RACS.
What will this mean for existing RACS umbrella customers?
There is very little for our agencies to do apart from let candidates know that they should expect to be contacted by the RACS compliance team. Candidates will be asked to digitally upload the required documents to confirm their identity, National Insurance & Right to Work details.
